1: Arrive at St Denis de Vaux** |
On arrival
at the railway station our representative will take you to your
comfortable Chambre d’Hôte. Enjoy the gardens and
outdoor pool before dinner.

2: St Denis de Vaux – Buxy
14 kms |
Enjoy the
views from the wide grassy ridges, across the Saône. As
you climb the small hill of Mont Avril, admire the wild flowers
or perhaps search for fossils on the gentle slopes.

3: Buxy |
 A
circular walk around the town. Follow waymarks along minor roads
and grassy tracks, past hedgerows, vineyards and through farmyards.

In the morning,
gather the flavour of the local area with a short orientation
tour around the outskirts of St Boil. Enjoy some time around
the hotel’s outdoor pool, a real suntrap.

Boil – Cormatin

A day of
contrasts. Encounter dark, dense woods, open meadows, paths
and tracks in this quickly changing terrain.

7: Cormatin |
 Take
a short bus ride to Cluny and see the remains of the famous
abbey. Cluny is ideal for a relaxed day sightseeing. Save
some time to visit the château or bicycle museum
at Cormatin. |

8: Leave for Home |
After breakfast,
our representative will take you to the railway station for
your journey home.
** Self drive holidays start with 1 night at a hotel in Chagny
rather than St Denis de Vaux due to limited parking space. A
transfer is provided to St Denis de Vaux to start your holiday.
On the last morning, travel back to Chagny to reclaim your car.
