Rail Travel Supplements
Normally we buy standard class tickets on all trains, however if you would like to upgrade to First Class on Eurostar, a supplement is payable at the time of booking.

By air to Paris or French regional airports
Arrange your own flights to France or book your flights with Global Star Travel
We can arrange your onward travel to your holiday region by train

• Booking your own tickets is easily arrange with a phone call or on the internet. Ryanair and Easyjet both have on-line booking on their websites.
• Allow 3 hours from the arrival of your flight to the departure time of the train
• The times of French train connections in the brochure are shown as a guide to help you decide the route best suited to you. Telephone the office for alternative train timings and connections
• Before booking your flights, phone us to check the rail connections.

• The holiday price, which excludes air travel, includes a standard class SNCF rail ticket from the airport to your holiday region.
  

Air Travel
When you book your Boots & Bikes holiday we can ask Global Star Travel to book the air travel on your behalf. We act as a referral agent for Global Star Travel, enabling our clients to benefit from their greater purchasing power. Payment for the air fare element of your holiday is due in full at the time of booking and is payable directly to Global Star Travel who will issue you with a confirmation invoice following receipt of your payment.

We will advise you of the cost of air travel at the time of booking. The price of air tickets can vary considerably and because of this we do not put air ticket prices in our brochures. Global Star Travel will obtain the best price possible for your flights. You can also speak to Global directly if you prefer to arrange your flights yourself or make your own alternative flight arrangements.

By car

• The price for self drive travel is based on 2 people driving to the base hotel, crossing the channel by ferry or tunnel. A reduction of £50 per car is available where 4 or more people share one car.
• There are 4 Eurotunnel departures every hour during peak times. If you would like to upgrade to Flexiplus the supplement is £90 per car.
• P & O Ferries departures from Dover are approximately every 45 minutes.
  

Cross channel supplements
Add the supplements which are applicable to your journey to the self drive price.
Rates are for cars less than 6m long and 1.85m high. Supplements are payable for larger cars. Self drive prices are based on 2 people travelling in one car, phone the office for details of single travel supplements. You can upgrade to Flexiplus on Eurotunnel for £90 per car. The benefits of the Flexiplus upgrade include flexible travel arrangements, dedicated check-in and priority boarding. The Flexiplus upgrade and single supplements are payable at the time of booking. If there are 4 or more people travelling in one car, deduct £50 per car from the total holiday price.
Check-in time for channel crossings is 45 minutes before sailing time.
Travel on off-peak crossings and save up to £34 per car per single journey.
P & O Ferries off-peak sailings depart Dover 14.01 to 05.59 and depart Calais from 00.01 to 13.59. Eurotunnel off-peak trains depart Folkestone 14.00 to 06.00 and depart Calais from 00.00 to 14.00.

Own travel
Make your own travel arrangements to reach the base hotel

• The price of own travel, where you make all of your travel arrangements yourself, is £25 per person less than the self drive price.
